About

A practice built in three countries

More than thirty years of preparing people and music for performance. The places changed. The work stayed recognizable.

Santarém and Manaus

It began with classical piano in Santarém, Pará, in the Brazilian Amazon, and with church music from childhood. An official keyboard appointment came in 1994, followed by teaching theory and leading rehearsals, including a 1996 Christmas cantata and a citywide March for Jesus that brought musicians from several churches together.

In 1998 and 1999, independent session work at Studio Z, arranging and producing jingles and station audio for regional television and radio: the first real studio education.

From 2000 to 2007 in Manaus, Amazonas: playing and rehearsing with the bands, orchestra, and vocal groups of a large church, recording, and, for two years, touring and handling public relations for the progressive metal band Kalvarius.

Southern Brazil

In 2007, a move south to tour as a keyboardist with FDH Music in Pato Branco, Paraná. From 2008 to 2014 in Brusque, Santa Catarina: an independent teaching practice, the first online lessons, workshops across three states, tours with recording artists, and a full album produced for a vocal quartet.

Japan

From 2014 to 2021 in Gifu and Aichi prefectures, central Japan: up to 70 students a month in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, music direction for conferences, worship teams built for new churches, and releases produced remotely from a home studio. Also vocal kits and voice tutorials on YouTube, a channel that now has more than 17,000 subscribers (as of September 2026).

Dallas-Fort Worth

In 2022, a Certificate in Biblical Studies at Christ For The Nations Institute in Dallas. Then a BA in Music Business with a Recording emphasis at Dallas Baptist University, together with music operations and event production for the College of Fine Arts. Expected graduation: December 16, 2026.

In September 2026, an invitation from DBU’s International Student Services and Global Community to moderate a Brazilian student panel for visiting students from Legacy School in Brazil.

Principles

Clarity, preparation, teaching, and service. A rehearsal goes better when the parts are ready. A team grows when someone explains the why. An event runs well when the details were handled the day before.
